trouble posting trip report

Instead of emailing or messaging the Admins or Mods with technical support questions or comments about the site, we prefer you check here to see if someone else has had the same difficulty or has made the same suggestion. What you're after might have already been posted and addressed here or within the FAQ. If not, please post a detailed description of the problem/suggestion and someone from the HST team will address your needs shortly. If you can't login/post and are unable to reset your password on your own, you may contact us directly.

trouble posting trip report

Am i suppose to use the "upload attachment" function to insert a picture in my trip report? it's limited to 1mb. is there some trick to resize all my pictures? how do all of you do this? Its so complicated, it makes me even more appreciative of the reports that are posted. Thanks everyone!!!

I've found it's best to upload your photos to one of the free photo sharing sites (e.g. Google Photos, Photo Bucket) rather than here and inserting a link to the photo (use the "rimg" button) in your report.

I'm still rather convinced that you can achieve more than you've ever dreamed of if you just lower your standards.

I'll kick it up to 2MB but no higher. I have to keep that limit low so we don't blow our bandwidth ceiling.
