Re: Camp Shots
playing texas hold-em... with reeses pieces as chips as it lightly rained on us at 4'th recess lake
this tent is a stephensons warmlite (which i now refuse to use anymore)
here it is pitched below kaweah gap after the wild october 2009 snowstorm where it misrerably failed on me. it dumped around 8 inches of rain/sleet/snow on me and the tent was taking on water. i used my spare T-shirt to mop up the water every 1/2 hour through the entire night & wringed out the water in my stoves pot. heck, i had seam sealed the tent and it still failed. won't use it again... even tho it weighs in a 4 lbs. the tent never ventilated well for me eiyther and i'd wake up in mornings with ice flakes falling on my face & neck.

Re: Camp Shots
Sometimes the only way to know if a tent is worth its salt is in extreme situations. If it doesn't work, don't use it again.

Re: Camp Shots
Eric;
Who cares about your photography skills. I want some of what's being served in that photo.
Actually, I do a smoked salmon ritual every year for the usual family gatherings, and it sounds similar to that which you posted, at least in a general sense. But your application is very nice. Sometimes, the wife and I take fresh baked cookies into the wilderness, and that is always good.
Cheers,
Herm

Re: Camp Shots
I'm not so sure. How you got a photo of yourself when both of your hands are busy with food is a pretty amazing photographic skill in my book.ERIC wrote:(again, disclaimer that I'm likely the worst photographer on HST)
