Longley Pass Cornice Size

Has anyone been out to Lake Reflection recently and looked up at Longley Pass? I have been looking at satellite images (https://tinyurl.com/2p8jym2f) and the cornice looks as large as ever. I would love a closer-up look.

Hi Kay,

I'll append the link to a post for an early season trip report from 5 years ago. If you scroll through the photos, you'll see a shot my wife took of me just before I started carving a slot into the Longley cornice, so we could get packs up (and us). At that time, there was a very solid catwalk along the face of the cornice, so I went to the lowest point and banged steps and a gully. A similar option might suffice for you, or it's possible the cornice has dwindled to a manageable height. Here's the link:
