I would call it a low class 3 because of the chute we chose to go down. Other than that, there is no exposure for falling, but it is super steep and slippery. I was right on the edge of what I felt confident about. Between 2 and 3 is a fair way to look at it.
According to Google Earth it's at:
37 22'02.74 N
118 42'26.10 W
You can see how massive it is on Google Earth. It cuts the trail three times. On the upper part, if you zoom in you can see a bit of rock on the left side of the washout, which is where we climbed down. We could have butt-slid a little farther down, but this seemed better. There was no way to get any higher than that, though.
What made it stressful was not knowing if further down we could reach an impasse and need to go back up. We didn't want to do that.
