That google estimated +16 minutes for Sonora pass is my actual experience. No big deal. My overly emotional reaction is based not on that tiny inconvenience but on missing out on driving 120. I really love the drive through Yosemite. I've driven it so many times it's become part of the high country experience I look forward to. I've come to feel deeply entitled to continue doing so. It's hard to give these things up. (Like the freedom of deciding in the middle of the night to drive to the valley and hike half-dome - permits?!)

And after all these years I've only just discovered Priest Station Cafe.
