CalTopo Help

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

CalTopo Help

Post by freestone »

I am trying to print a map using the CalTopo app for an IPad but the print icon is missing. It should be on the right side of the map but not seeing it. Anyone having the same problem on an Apple device? Maybe i need to change something in settings or is this function no longer available for free?

On the CalTopo website it says "At this time the print function is only available in the web browser, and not on mobile devices.".
I don't have an iPad but if you're using the app maybe a work-around is to access CalTopo from a browser on your iPad (or save the map as a PDF and print from outside CalTop)?

Thank you Shawn, very much appreciated. When in doubt, read the instructions!
