I love this time of year because I have a clean 2022 calendar and it’s time to plan as many trips as possible and fill up that calendar. One place I’ve always wanted to explore is a the Red Peak Pass area. I’d like to do a loop from Chiquito Trailhead, through Ottoway Lakes, Isberg Pass, Rutherford Lake, and back to the trailhead.
I can’t find a map with the fire scar from the Creek Fire. Can anyone provide some feedback on how impacted this area was, or can someone point out a map that I’m unaware of? I’m sure it was effected, but just how bad? Thank you!

Fire map in Caltopo: https://caltopo.com/map.html#ll=37.5720 ... .25&a=fire
The fire scars can be seen on satellite images. The images can show how severe the scar is - brown (severely burned) vs. dark green (low intensity fire or no fire).
MODIS: https://worldview.earthdata.nasa.gov/?v ... 3A57%3A22Z
Play with dates and turn on/off Aqua/Terra layers to select a clear image.
Higher resolution - Sentinel: https://apps.sentinel-hub.com/sentinel- ... ates=false
Zoom in and play with dates.

Tomba- what a great map! (Caltopo) Thanks for posting the link. I switched it to the geology layer which is very interesting.
As for the fires, absolutely amazing how much of the Sierra foothills have burned in just the last 20 years.
