I took this one a couple months ago in March but have sat on it not sure how I wanted to process it. Well it finally came to me last weekend and I was able to come up with this.
I dedicated this to a good friend of mine who passed away last week. He was a fellow photographer and admirer of the Eastern Sierra. I think he woul've liked it.
Processed raw file in canon's DPP, and worked a bit in CS2. I added a warming filter affect and burned in the edges a bit.
Thanks for looking!

Cory, so sorry to hear about your friend, and what an image to dedicate. I love the artistic look this has. I'm guessing this shot is level, but the foreground meadow looks a tilted - normally I'd suggest a fix but in this shot I feel it really adds to the feeling and leads me up into those distant mountains.
