Flat ridging will continue over our region bringing us above normal temperatures and dry conditions today and tomorrow. We might see a few mid to high level clouds floating over head from time to time.
Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies with daytime temperatures in the lower 70s and evening lows in the mid 30s. Northwest wind 10 mph.
Today for Mammoth: Partly cloudy. Temperature range 50 - 60 and lows 20 - 30. Southwest wind 10 - 15 gusting to 30 mph in town and 50 over the Crest.
Tomorrow for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the upper 30s. Light wind.
Tomorrow for Mammoth: Partly cloudy. Temperature range 55 - 65 and evening lows 25 - 35. Southwest wind 10 mph.
An upper level ridge of high pressure will build in strongly on Sunday, bringing warming temps and dry conditions. Near record temperatures will be possible on Sunday and Monday. We can expect possible temperatures in the upper 60s for Mammoth and in the upper 70s/low 80s for the Owens Valley. Ridge flattens on Tuesday as an upper level disturbance moves across the norther portion of our state, bringing more clouds and cooling temps.
