Re: Manter Meadow and Domelands Wilderness
I just came back from the Machine Creek and Little Trout Creek area which is a little north of where you will be. All of the small creeks in the area had a better than expected flow and that was before the rains. We didn't see any mosquitos and very few flies, there were still more wild flowers than expected also. Even though they are small creeks Trout, Machine, and Little Trout Creeks all had trout in them, German Browns.

Littlefish, I would be interested if you see any deer in the MM area while you are there. I you wouldn't mind a report when you get back I would appreciate it.

Re: Manter Meadow and Domelands Wilderness
There is a spring on the north-northeast side of the meadow. Common spot for camping.
Glad to see trail work being done. The Manter Fire in 2000 took its toll out there.
