On Sunday Michael Hanson (Windwalker) and I took a trip to photograph the fall colors at Balch Park. It was the first time I've been there and I will certainly come back.

Gorgeous, as always. Your eye for composition is marvelous.
I don’t need a goal destination. I need a destination that meets my goals.

Beautiful split mirror reflection Mike, well done. Know that pond well. Just suggested to someone yesterday to visit Mountain Home in a week to three but your images show the dogwood are already looking good enough. Very nice developed camping areas in that very under utilized state park that never has many visitors. And one of the few places today where developed camping sites are absolutely free.
Unfortunately weather is likely to remain sunny at least until the end of next week where models have been indicating the boring high will finally move east with the possibility of at this point a cut off low off the Central Coast that just might make for some clouds for we photographers.
