Which airport are you flying into, LAX or SFO?

K. I'm no where near LAX.. anyone else want to loan out a can?
I would like to think most of us would loan gear if we weren't using it at the time.

Re: Bear canisters?
Any HST members in the LA area what to step up, and help some fellow east coast backpackers, who are coming here to experience the Sierra in August?

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

I have an old Garcia, a Bearvault BV500, and BV450, but live in the SF Bay Area, when do you fly out?

Re: Bear canisters?
I really appreciate that you'd be willing to offer a loaner! But I think I'll just buy one here before I head out. I can just stuff it with clothes in my pack for the flight so it won't take up much room. I could use one anyway for trips in my area.
