Uinta Mountains

Post by Tom »

Scheming to get to the Uinta Wilderness area in August. I have a non-air conditioned, 20 year old car that is perfect for trailheads in the Sierra...but would be awful across the deserts in August.
I am willing to share with gas and a couple of meals.
Salt lake City would be an okay destination.
Yellowstone or Uinta Rivers better.
I am flexible with times.
Can tell fishing stories all the way or keep my trap shut.
Trained in either discipline.

Relates: I've always wondered how "Unita" was properly pronounced?
