To late, Benson Lake in Yosemite has held that title for quite some time.We call that site The Hyatt Regency. It's a good one. The beach on the NE end of the lake is The Sierra Riviera.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

I have read that back in the day it would get swarmed with European tourists and somewhat resembles the Riviera. I'd love to see a picture of that.maverick wrote:To late, Benson Lake in Yosemite has held that title for quite some time.We call that site The Hyatt Regency. It's a good one. I defer to Mav. Here's a screen capture from GE of Benson. Nice beach!
