Lots of bird activity
First time i've seen this pair here:
Spring has definitely sprung for the birds. Glad to see so much bird activity.

Location would be nice Russ? Supposed to guess? Your backyard is my guess.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

The week my son was born 4 peacocks showed up on my roof, never saw them before but it was really pretty neat.

Re: Lots of bird activity
both appeared to be hens. it was a split second photo out the window. sorry the lilac was in the way for bird #2. You know He's somewhere near though.
The doe has been running around as well, but her yearlings are gone now. she's had 4 as far as I've tracked. they live up on the hill and transition once in awhile across the lawn. And then the fox as well, but it runs too fast to capture a picture.
Fun to have wildlife walking around when in meetings all day.

Your does are already fawning? Wow that's early, at least for around here and southern sierra. Are your deer black tail of mule deer?

black tail. she's not fawning.. she's looking for him, but that was a month ago. the buck was a fork last year. so.. and no, i don't hunt from my window, except gophers. gophers are not welcome. everyone else, come and play.. had to tell one of her fawns to kindly not eat roses.

No you can't hunt your pets! Pretty neat to be immersed in the environment of which you live.
