Re: Apologies
Thank you everyone.
Vaca Russ, all I can say is good choice in names.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Re: Apologies
It's good to "see" you back! You have always made me feel welcomed as a newer member to HST. Your cross country route suggestions and photography advice are very much appreciated:).

Re: Apologies
Just to throw in my 2¢…
I too welcome our own Mav back;
(In truth, he probably never really left – whatever.)
Now someone should address the elephant in the room – get it out there so Mav can (hopefully) resume his position as a much-needed Mod here.
Hey pal, you were way out of bounds…’nuff said.
Apology accepted.

It's not like this is a democracy. Eric decides who "oversees the flock", so to speak. I'm not even sure what privileges are granted on top of just being a normal user, other than what i've read or played with on generic phpbb installations, or kicking spammers off.
It really doesn't matter who is or isn't a moderator as long as they participate in the threads. The respect is still there for any individuals knowledge and the Sierra is a big place with lots of expertise in various regions.

Great to have you back.
Since my fishing (etc.) website is still down, you can be distracted by geology stuff at: http://www.fresnostate.edu/csm/ees/facu ... ayshi.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
