Ansel Adams Wilderness Short Trip Report and Pictures

Postby ej on Tue Nov 15, 2005 2:57 pm

Over the past weekend, I attempted to do some climbing in the Ansel Adams wilderness but turned back due to ominous looking weather. I've put up some pictures and a short trip report at the following link.

Nice pics! I always enjoy your pics. Ominous clouds is right, they looked like they could dump hard!

Nice pictures EJ. I really love the Ice Crystals!

I noticed the Stanford website, are you a student? I've been going to Stanford hospital since last October.

Nice to hear from you again! I just bought the new Canon 70-300 with their newest IS, it's a really nice lens. It's not optically as good as your 70-200 but the IS lets me take a lot more shots that I don't have time to set up the tripod for.

Yes I'm a PhD student here. I hope you're not going to the hospital in a bad sense :(

Trailblazer also recently came to Stanford for his post doctoral work.

Cool shot of Carson Peak! We dayclimbed it from the other side a month ago.
