Yosemite National Park Invites Public To Open House
Yosemite National Park News Release

The National Park Service welcomes those interested to attend an Open House in Yosemite Valley on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in the Visitor Center Auditorium.
The public is invited to the Open House to:
* Talk to park staff and listen to presentations given throughout the day
* Access the latest news on various park projects
* Provide feedback on proposed projects and ongoing implementation efforts
* Review newly released documents and reports
Projects and topics that will be represented at the Open House are:
* Yosemite Lodge Area Redevelopment Project
* East Yosemite Valley Campground Improvements Project
* Environmental Education Campus
Park staff will give attendees a preview of planning efforts getting underway in the next few months. Also available for review will be the newly completed summary and final report for the Yosemite National Park Visitor Study which was conducted in July 2005.

Visitors attending the Open House will have the entrance fee waived. If unable to attend, refer to the Yosemite National Park web site for a schedule of future Open House dates.
