Didn't go back to Minnesota for Thanksgiving, so decided to head over Kearsarge Pass. I was hoping to head up to East Lake and Mt. Brewer, but as soon as we got up on the pass, it was clear that Brewer wasn't going to happen as the east ridge was covered in snow.
Instead, we decided to head down to Charlotte Lake, where we camped before climbing Mt. Bago and Mt. Rixford on Friday. We were back over the pass just as the sun went down, and used headlamps to get back to the car. The temp dropped quite a bit and it started snowing- we made it back to our car, the only one in the Onion Valley lot- at 7:30.

Re: Thanksgiving Mt. Bago and Mt. Rixford
Wonderful, nice to see folks getting out. Up here in the Pacific northwest our days are now so short, and the mountains completely socked in...
