Trail Riddles
Inspired by maverick's cruel 'take a guess' thread, I'm reminded of a few riddles I often pull out to pass the time when hiking with new hiking partners. Probably not the same online, as you can probably just search around and find the answers posted somewhere. But thought I'd share just in case anyone was interested.
RULES:
Only one. You can ask any questions you want, but I can only give yes, no, could be, or probably not answers.
FIRST RIDDLE:
"Three men are in a cabin. A man walks in, fires a gun, everybody dies."
To solve this riddle, correctly describe the scene and events that would have caused this tragedy.
HINT:
It's always best to start with basic questions, first. Remember, riddles are never what they lead the mind to first believe.

SECOND RIDDLE:
"A man leaves home going right. He makes a left, then another left, and then left one more time before returning home."
Question is, where did he go, or better yet, why?

Like I said, not that hard when posted on the internet (or if you've heard them before). Feel free to contribute your own to this thread. Kind of fun to have a few of these in your pocket for the trail.

Re: Trail Riddles
it's harder to find trail riddles, but i applaud your move to post this Eric. The biggest riddle i can come up with is why (in my opinion) does Emigrant Wilderness draw all the nude hikers?

Re: Trail Riddles
Actually I had to think about that one! I am surprised cause I dont play baseball!
I have one for ya.
What has two heads, can take any direction it chooses, and covers itself with a blanket in the winter?
(This is a clean riddle!)

Re: Trail Riddles
OK:
A guy hikes one mile due south, then one mile due east, at which point he shoots a bear.
He then walks one mile due north, returning to his point of origin.
What color was the bear?
