Horseshoe Meadow to Chicken Spring Lake

I am leaving tomorrow, and have never been on this trial before. Does anyone know what I should expect in terms of water availability between the Horseshoe Meadow trailhead and Chicken Spring Lake? Any other useful current information, such as water crossings, bugs, etc.? Thank you for your time!
