Glacier Point Road (Open)/ Tioga Road Partial Re-Opening

Post by maverick »

Yosemite NP:
Great news! Glacier Point Road will open tomorrow morning (Saturday, November 13 at 8am) and will remain open as long as conditions allow. No services will be available (including drinking water). Overnight parking is not allowed; the road may close at any time.

Inyo NF:
Caltrans District 9 has opened State Route 120 W from its storm closure.

The Tioga Pass Entrance Station to Yosemite National Park remains closed at this time and drivers will not be able to access the road beyond that point.
Check quickmap.dot.ca.gov for the latest road info.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
