California 2021 Drought, first-hand observations

This year's drought is striking to experience first-hand. I thought I'd start a thread to compare-and-contrast previous years with 2021.

Here's two photos comparing Grizzly Falls in King Canyon on the same April weekend, 2019 versus 2021. . .

April 29 2019: This was an above-average snowpack year. The flow was so strong I couldn't approach without getting soaked. (video link)
