I am looking at going up to Treasure Lakes 2nd wk of August. I have done LLV many times, as well as Mono Pass, but I have yet to CC to Treasure Lakes. I have been researching the 2 routes as well as fishing reports, however I have yet to find any info on anyone camping there or good areas around the lakes for pitching a tent...
Anyone have any info?
Thanks!

Thanks. I had read that one and it seemed like they were talking about sites above Gem Lake.kpeter wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 7:30 pm This thread has some useful information.

Hi Sci,
There are campsites at the upper and lower lakes. Use the search feature, type in "treasure lakes + camping", and you will find a lot of useful info.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Thank you. I had done that, and the majority of those posts discuss camping at the "Treasure lakes " near South Lake outside of Bishop. However, I did find one that I overlooked that had some good info.
