Markskor in Hospital

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Just talked to Mark. He said to say he is still alive. Hoping to get strong enough before the Yosemite adventure.
Doesn't like San Diego that much.

Great news. And in time for some time in the Sierra, too.
Since my fishing (etc.) website is still down, you can be distracted by geology stuff at: http://www.fresnostate.edu/csm/ees/facu ... ayshi.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Can't believe that i completely missed this thread until now. Very sorry to hear about his health issues, hopefully he will be able to emulate Vern C. and kick this evil out of his life forever. Glad to hear that he is doing better,and is finally back home. Sending thoughts of mountains and trout his way!
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I — I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I use 'view active topics' on the quick links bar everyday so I can catch all the action on HST.

Mark was very happy to get home. Mark got happier the closer we got to Mammoth.
