Dana Meadows to Parker Canyon Backpack
PHOTOS from Day 1: http://snownymph.smugmug.com/gallery/3376080#188499077
Mtflyer and Trailtrekker backpacked in a day before me. I went from Dana Meadows to Parker Canyon solo, with a quick trip to Mono Pass and the Prescott Mining District cabins. Craig and Brent from AZ were about 1/2 hr behind me. Plan was to hike a few peaks in the area on Saturday, then hike out Sunday.

Dayclimb Koip, Kuna, Parker and Wood and a B24 crash site

The guys were only going to the B-24 plane wreck from 1943. From our camp in Parker Canyon, us gals dayclimbed Koip Pk, checked out the plane wreck, Kuna Peak, back to Koip Peak, Parker Peak, Mt Woods, back to Parker Peak and back to camp. A lot of ups and downs, but got 6 summits.
