Re: SPAM
So... This is nasty, but on a long JMT trip I had a favorite that everyone thought was nasty. My buddy and I were on the trail too long and I made a video where I was Julia Childs preparing it...
Individually sliced spam
Packet of mayo
Sun dried tomatoes paste in a packet
Tortilla shell
It was awesome in the trail

Re: SPAM
Rogue Photonic carried one of these SPAM packets every single day for dinner basically every backpacking trip I've been with him. I do not care for ham or salty things so I'm not a big fan but I've tried it in the KNOR Pasta/Rice sides that we eat and it's not half bad when I'm starving/had to ration for food and Rogue was nice enough to share haha.
Never put off a backpacking trip for tomorrow, if you can do it today...

OK everyone, if you're ever close to Austin, MN, by all means, stop at the Spam museum. It will make the Louvre look like a bus stop. You'll not regret it; especially if you've watched Fargo the night before!
