Something in Arizona?
Already hitting the 90's, then into 100's by the weekend near GC, and in northern AZ near Paige, it will be 109 F by Sunday. Late June, but especially July and August it gets a little to toasty. Same goes for Utah.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Boating and water skiing? River rafting? No one says you have to backpack... nine days of vacation could be a couple different activities.

Or a couple short trips of the leisurely kind. From the melt pattern that one idea I had for hiking up the Kern River all the way to the hot spring and back might be the ticket.

I could head to Roads end/Copper Creek TH anyway and explore, walk up the river valleys as far as I can and fish. I have never been out in those conditions, might be good to at least experience it without taking any risks. I wouldn't get to do that itenerary but I could check out the area...

Not sure. I wish I had taken a week off later in year instead. I could also work.

Hey Asolthane - I just posted about the loop I did... have fun on your trip whatever you do! We encountered a LOT of snow needless to say. If you have any questions then feel free.
