Hiking Mike | High Sierra Topix

Hiking Mike

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

This story is super inspiring!
My newphew contracted lyme disease in Pennsylvania. Luckily the disease is (somewhat) more well known these days and the symptoms were recognized quickly. It is awesome to see how indomitable Hikin' Mike's spirit is.
I hope you don't mind if i cross post the other forums I visit.
