SNOW!

Postby TahoeJeff » Mon Nov 02, 2015 10:20 am

As of 10:15 this a.m., there is about an inch or 2 of slushy white stuff on the ground, here in So Lake Tahoe!
What is the Mammoth report Markskor?

A dusting in the Almanor area. Gone now. Off and on light drizzle all day.

Great news! They are expecting a foot of snow at higher elevations today.
I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

We ended up with over half a foot at lake level (6,200').

Well, we're off to a better start than last year!! I'll bet Tioga Pass road will permanently close for the season on either the 13th or 14th prior to the next storm.
