I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

I just dug out my old Audubon guide so my son and I could start identifying the blooms here in the foothills. I'll be checking this resource as well.

Calphoto was another great resource, but was closed due to the fact that people where
going onto private property, also trampling over, and walking over the wild flowers in
some areas, it is a shame that some folks just don't get it.

My passion is wildflower photographry. I have a thing about documenting each year when the diferent species first bloom. It varies so much year to year. Sky pilots are one of the most interesting plants to document, because they are not common and they flower at such different dates each year.
