Yarts, does it fill up?

All discussion related to transportation to, from and within the Sierra Nevada. Need directions or flight information? Info on road conditions? A ride to the trail head? Yarts, does it fill up?

Hi,

We're going to need to take Yarts from Mammoth to Tuolumne Meadows. This will be on a weekday in August.

Yarts does not take reservations. Is there any chance it'll be full? Should we catch it at the first stop in Mammoth rather than the last?

If you are traveling from Mammoth Lakes, you should have no problem no matter which location you choose to catch the bus. The YARTS buses are 50-passenger buses so you are safe at the start of the trip.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
