Tell me about Wilsonia

I can't find much info on Wilsonia in Kings Canyon National Park. I was surprised to see a private community in the park when I fisrt vistied there. I encountered a few homeowners, but never got to talk to them too much about the place.

How many homes are there? How much do they usually fetch in the market? How often do they come up for sale? I imagine most don't even go on the market per se, but get sold quickly by word through "the community."

I met one lady that lived there year round. I bet that would be a great experience for a few years. She did say that the NPS bought some up years ago and tore them down, but they don't do that anymore.

Anyone have any info, stories, or experiences to share about the place?
