Is the Florence Lake ferry running this year?
After a meet-up with my family in Edison Lake, it would be convenient to get back on the JMT near MTR, I can get a ride over to Florence...

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

The Florence Lake Ferry was running as of last Thursday and as of last Sunday. Water level in the lake was not very low.

Post facto: as of 2 weeks Florence was still mostly full; the ferry was running daily at 8:30-4:30 every 2 hours.
Showed up at 10 from Kaiser Pass Road for the 10:30 and was sold a ticket, did not arrive farside however until 12:15 or so; was told 3 people failed to show for work(!) and the diligent woman running the shop and selling tickets was ferrying people one boatload at a time. We were trip #3.
