Mono Sheriffs Dept:
Sonora Pass -Hwy 108 is OPEN for the season!
Caltrans has opened Sonora Pass/State Route 108 from its winter closure. The highway was originally closed for the season on December 15, 2020. The reopening of Sonora Pass is a joint operation between Caltrans District 9 and Caltrans District 10 and follows weeks of snow and debris removal from the highway.
With this, seven of Caltrans District 9’s eight winter roads are now open to motorists, including:
-State Route 89/Monitor Pass
-State Route 108/Sonora Pass
-State Route 120 W at Lee Vining Gate
-State Route 120 E/Mono Mills Road
-State Route 158 N/North June Lake Loop
-State Route 270/Bodie Road
-State Route 168 W at Aspendell Gate
The only Caltrans road still in a winter closure is State Route 203 at Mammoth Mountain Inn.
Be sure to follow District 9 on Facebook (@Caltrans9) or Twitter (@Caltrans9) for updates on the reopening process. And for the latest highway information, please visit the Caltrans QuickMap site at quickmap.dot.ca.gov or call the Road Condition Hotline at 1-800-427-ROAD (7623).

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
