There used to be a bear locker at the Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp that could be used by non-guests. I saw it there some years ago.
Climber.org still lists it as their YE06 https://www.climber.org/data/BearBoxes/YE06.html
Has anyone looked for it recently? The climber-org sighting reports are old.

Yes, the lockers can be used by backpackers staying in the backpacker campground area. They are easily accessible.
