Long Term Parking at Cottonwood Lakes TH?
I'm planning on doing Roper's Sierra High Route + Alan Dixon's Southern Sierra High Route from early August-early September this year. I'm trying to figure out my parking options after driving out from Denver. I know Mono Village has long term parking for a fee, but I've been unable to find any info on long term parking for Cottonwood Lakes/Horseshoe Meadows, where I will be exiting. Does anyone know what the parking situation is there?

I don't believe there is a time limit at either parking area/campground/trailhead.

@ohm44 I would be aware, however, that until the campground/trailhead area opens up, parking is along the road before the closed gate.

Not common (was thinking general hazards of parking along any road like that), but speak of the devil... https://scontent-lax3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/ ... e=5F17C05F and https://www.latimes.com/california/stor ... 1I2DrIMvns

Yeah I saw that, absolutely wild. Trying to imagine how much it would suck to come back from 3 weeks in the mountains only to find your car pancaked under a truck sized boulder
