Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne routes

Hi.
I am wondering if there are any routes in or out of the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne (to the North or South) or are Pate Valley and Glen Aulin the only points to begin or end? I am an experienced xc hiker. Also looking at possible loops to the north, but the obvious one spends too much time on the PCT for my taste.
It's been fun pouring over maps and making plans. Fingers crossed that we can all get out and enjoy.
