They've announced that the Mist Trail is now open.
The only problem is that the park is still closed to visitors. sigh

We could hope that in anticipation of opening, they are still keeping track of the condition of various trails and posting the information. Perhaps they will open trails before roads into the park. Once the snow melts a bit you can get into the park from FS trailheads on all sides. No harm in being unrealistically optimistic!
