showers in the sierra
I was wondering where there are good places to take cheap showers after dayhikes or between backpacking trips anywhere in the Sierra. I hope to spend a lot of time there this summer, but don't always want to spring for a motel... any suggestions? Thanks!

Here's a list of places you can take a shower near the Eastern Sierra Trailheads:

There are also showers at Lodgepole. These have truly come in handy.
Since my fishing (etc.) website is still down, you can be distracted by geology stuff at: http://www.fresnostate.edu/csm/ees/facu ... ayshi.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'm probably showing my age. But I remember the concessionair camps in yosemite backcountry used to let you pay for a shower. I remember taking one at Glen Aulin once but having nothing but stinking clothes to put on. I also remember sneaking into the showers at Tuolume Meadows. This was in the early 60's though.
