Update on areas opening on the Kern River Ranger District: Cherry Hill Road (Kern Plateau), Saddle Springs Road (Piutes), Breckenridge Road, and Forest Highway 90 (from Greenhorn Summit to Johnsondale) all just opened. Blackrock Trailhead is planned to open on Sunday morning. Sherman Pass is being worked on, but there are still several snowdrifts blocking the road.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
