The road to the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest Visitor Center and Schulman Grove is now open. The road had been previously closed at Sierra View Gate. This is weather permitting and plan for snow and ice on the road. Be prepared for winter conditions at 10,000 ft. in elevation. Expect snow on the trails, especially in shaded areas such as along the Methuselah Trail. Additionally, there are no services there yet (pack out your trash) and the visitor center is not opened yet.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
