The South Lake Trailhead parking lot will be closed from September 8 to October 30 so if you are thinking of a trip in September or October in the area, plan accordingly.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
