We need help with transport to begin a backpack trip at Horseshoe Meadow entry point around August 3 or 4th. We are hiking New Army Pass/Cottonwood Lakes/Whitney/Kearsarge Pass and exiting via Onion Valley Rd 6-8 days later.
Potentially we want to drop off our single car at Onion Valley Trailhead, then head south to Horseshoe Meadow trailhead to start the trip - the basic car shuttle. Alternatives: engage in a key swap if hiking opposite directions?
Do you have a car and want do a shuttle together? help out with transport? Ideas?
Christie and Blaze from Santa Cruz thank you for your consideration and assistance!

Hi Mountaingirl,
Welcome to HST! Good luck on finding someone for your swap.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
