Kings Canyon NP (Grant Grove) Snow Conditions

Winter has finally arrived. Snow conditions in the Grant Grove area of kings Canyon are outstanding. 3 1/2 ft. base and rising. All X-Country ski trails are in open and in great shape. Tele skiing is primo. For untracked powder head for Panaramic Pt. and turn right to the Manzanita Bowl.

Very cool skibum. Sounds like awesome conditions. I'm gonna have to head up to that area, hopefully sooner rather than later - but sooner AND later sounds ok too :D
