Lots of neat clouds moved in, some a bit ominous. Started to haze over a tad and snow flurries began falling for a little while. We barely had to touch snow the entire time on the ascent. Looked like more consistent snow started shortly after Mirror Lake on some parts of the trail. We could see the switchbacks on Whitney, which looked like they had a decent amount of snow. Per the pattern lately, many S facing slopes had very little snow, like the slopes we used to ascend Thor and the slopes above Upper Boy Scout Lake used to ascend Russel and Carillon.
