In the campfire forum it shows the last post by maverick on Jan. 29. when I open the forum there is no post by maverick??????????????????

That happens when a post gets moved to a different topic area. The best way to follow a thread that gets moved it to click on the lil box on the right side of the name of the poster (View Latest Post), and it will take you to the thread or topic area it was moved to. Mav's post moved under Eric's post in "Sierra Nevada History". Think of the "Campfire" entry as a pointer.
It was a good move. Always nice to get different perspectives from the media stories.
