Glass Creek Campground, Inyo NF
I'll be arriving here late (11pm?) for some quick Zs before taking off pre-dawn to Mammoth Mountain to drop off the car and grab YARTS back up to Tuolumne Meadows. Is the access road and campground OK for a low clearance passenger car (e.g. Toyota Camry)? Thanks.

Hi Feetfirst,
http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/inyo/rec ... 8&actid=29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Site write "Sites will accommodate a 45 foot vehicle", so your Toyota will be sure to
make it.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Thanks, Maverick. I saw that and figured I'm good, but wanted to check here for confirmation since I've received conflicting info. I spoke to a gentlemen at the Mono Basin visitor center who said he wouldn't go in there without 4wd. Go figure.

I just wanted to follow up and say that regular passenger cars are fine. No problems whatsoever with clearance or tread.
