120 (Crane Flat to Yosemite Valley segment) fire closure

For folks headed to Tioga Pass from 140 or 41 (connecting to 120) note that the 120 connection to Merced R. is currently closed due to a fire that began in El Portal yesterday afternoon. If your plans include getting to Tioga Pass or the Tenaya-Tuolumne area via 140 or 41, one needs to reroute north to 108/120. The same is true getting out right now. For Bay Area folks headed to the 120 high country and Tioga Pass the road is apparently open.
