Re: Lost Wedding Ring -- Charlotte Lake
Hey - I know Jim, the backcountry ranger stationed at Charlotte Lake this summer, and will be visiting him sometime in the next few weekends. I've sent him your note, and can add a picture for you if you'd like to email or post one here. If he finds it, I'm happy to mail it back to you. Bonne chance-

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Re: Lost Wedding Ring -- Charlotte Lake
Wow, that would be great if you could talk to him and he could look for it. Of course I understand that it's a bit of a "needle in a haystack", but if he has time to look a bit just east of those big tool chests in the flat area, that would be great. Other than wedding photos, I don't think I have any photos of the ring itself, but I'll see what I can dig up. It's just a plain man's titanium wedding ring. I'm on vacation right now with my wife and daughter (visiting mom), but should be home tomorrow night, so maybe I can post something on Sunday.SummitAntics wrote:Hey - I know Jim, the backcountry ranger stationed at Charlotte Lake this summer, and will be visiting him sometime in the next few weekends. WOW! I've been following this post and I thought the chances of finding the ring would be slim to none. I'm shocked and really happy for you. Cheers to Tim! Right on! ![big grin :D](./images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

WOW! I'm another who's been following this who thought the odds were slim to zero. One of those outcomes that keep us hopeful and optimistic.
